Receive the Blessing

Inspired by 2 Samuel 16:2

Let the donkeys bear the load.

My burden is light;

I will lead you where to go.

Feed on the bread,

Let you be filled,

So the dissatisfaction is stilled

And the figs, juicy and sweet,

Are ripened perfectly

And supplied for you to eat.

Partake and be merry;

It is more than your load that you carry.

Though now you’re in bewilderment

And wilderness is where you’ve been sent,

I’ve poured the wine and filled it full;

If you should get weary,

Partske from the vessel.

My supply is more than ample.

So go where I send you

And be a godly example.
